Wisdom Camp’s Most Common FAQ’s
What are the accommodation options at Wisdom Camp?
We offer both residential (boarding) and day camp options. Most campers stay overnight in our modern boarding houses with comfortable beds, common rooms with pool tables, TV’s, board games and communal areas. We have rooms with 2, 4, 5 and 6 beds. Campers are grouped according to ages and boys and girls are on separate levels supervised by experienced Boarding Crew and Matron.
Is there a Day Camp Option?
Yes! Younger or first-time campers can join for a Day Camp experience, where they participate in all activities but return home in the afternoon. Campers arrive at 8:15 am and are collected at 4:45pm each day.
What safety measures are in place?
Safety is our top priority. Our staff are trained in first aid and we have nurses and two medical centres on site with vehicles on stand-by for any emergency procedures. The camp also has lifeguards and security personnel to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all our campers and Crew.
What is the staff-to-camper ratio?
We maintain a low staff-to-camper ratio of 1:12 to ensure every child receives the attention and support they need. Our Wisdom Camp Crew includes the Director of Camp, Day Manager, Tribe Leaders, Camp Crew, activity specialists, Camp Nurses, and trained lifeguards. During watersports and adventurous activities, this is reduced to 1:8.
What meals are provided?
All campers receive nutritious, balanced meals and snacks throughout the day. Our menu includes a variety of Western and Asian dishes with salad bar and fresh fruit, ensuring there’s something for every child. Dietary and allergies are taken into consideration and alternative meals provided.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Yes! We are a nut-free school and cater to vegetarian, halal, and other dietary needs. Please let us know during registration, and we will ensure your child’s meals are prepared accordingly.
How do I register my child for Wisdom Camp?
You can register online by visiting our Registration Page and completing the registration form. You’ll receive a confirmation email with payment details and further instructions on how to prepare for Camp.
Which Wisdom Camps can I register for?
On our Registration Page you can register for either our Spring, Summer or Christmas Camps. Just select your Camp option on page 2 of the form.
What is included in the Camp fees?
The Wisdom Camp fee includes Tribe shirts, hat, water bottle, all snacks and meals and excursion entry fees. For residential Campers the fee includes the boarding costs and all evening activities.
What age ranges do you accept at Wisdom Camp?
Our Camp activities are designed for children aged 7 to 12.
How do I get from Bangkok Airport to Rugby School Thailand?
RST is 90 minutes from Suvarnabhumi Airport and there are numerous taxis you can book using Bolt or Grab ride haling apps. We can also provide a school vehicle to collect you. Please contact us to book this service as it is an additional charge.
When should I arrive for Camp Registration?
We recommend international Campers arrive the day before the camp starts to allow your children to rest and get over any jet lag. Registration is from 9:00 am to 9:45 am.
